Job Description
We are looking for an individual to conduct research within the courthouse during business office hours , which are Monday thru Friday 8:30 am to 4PM. A reliable means of transportation, smartphone and computer will be needed for this position. Travel between courthouses daily will be necessary. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, accurate data-entry skill set. Background of Legal jargon and case structure will be a plus. This will be a 1099-private contractor position. Responsibilities Conduct thorough research on various criminal and civil matters. In-person reviewing of documents within the courthouse Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate records and databases. Collaborate with team-members for relaying of information and updates. Organize and manage files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and accessible. Able to write down necessary information as provided from the court and transfer into digital system. Analyze data findings and present insights to team members in a clear and concise manner. Qualifications Understanding of legal language and legal process. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail. Familiarity with office procedures and administrative tasks. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, will require to interact with clerks. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical abilities.
