Position:
Full-time, 32-40 hours per week We are hiring for a client: A growing Florida family-law firm seeking a dependable and motivated Associate Attorney to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career attorney who wants meaningful courtroom and client experience, practical mentorship, and the opportunity to grow with a supportive firm. The right candidate will have prior law-firm experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to take ownership of assigned matters. Family-law experience is preferred but not required. Responsibilities Manage an assigned caseload with appropriate supervision Communicate directly and professionally with clients Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents Conduct legal research and help develop case strategies Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and other proceedings Track deadlines and maintain accurate, organized case files Provide timely case updates to clients and the legal team Record time and maintain accurate billing entries Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff Escalate significant legal or client issues when appropriate Qualifications Active and in good standing with The Florida Bar At least one year of experience in a law-firm environment preferred Family-law experience is a plus Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills Excellent client-service and communication skills Reliable, organized, and attentive to deadlines Able to work independently while accepting guidance and feedback Available during regular business hours for court appearances and client needs Comfortable using legal case-management, billing, and time-tracking systems What We Offer A full-time schedule of 32-40 hours per week Hands-on experience with substantive legal matters Mentorship and professional-development opportunities A collaborative and supportive work environment Direct client and courtroom experience Opportunity for increased responsibility as the firm grows Client's firm is an equal-opportunity employer.
