Job Description

Civil Litigation / Family Law Attorney - Central Florida The The Rivas Law Firm, P.A. is seeking an experienced and motivated Florida attorney to join our growing litigation team. Since 2007, our firm has proudly represented clients throughout Central Florida with a commitment to excellence, professionalism, and personalized advocacy. As our practice continues to expand, we are looking for a Family Law / Civil Litigation Attorney who is passionate about litigation, confident in the courtroom, and dedicated to delivering exceptional client service. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney seeking meaningful professional growth within a respected and well-established law firm that values collaboration, integrity, and long-term development. Position Overview The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience handling Florida family law and/or civil litigation matters and must be capable of independently managing cases from inception through resolution.
Responsibilities Include:
Contested dissolution of marriage proceedings Child support and timesharing litigation General civil litigation matters Motion practice and evidentiary hearings Mediation and settlement negotiations Trial preparation and courtroom litigation Client counseling, case strategy, and ongoing communication The successful candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a busy caseload while maintaining professionalism and compassion when interacting with clients. Qualifications Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar Minimum two (2) years of Florida Family Law and/or Civil Litigation experience Strong litigation and courtroom experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong client relationship and customer service abilities Bilingual (English/Spanish) required Personal Injury experience is a plus Compensation & Benefits Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
