The Court of Appeals of Indiana is accepting applications for a Judicial Law Clerk for Judge Melissa S. May. Applicants interested in either a term clerk position (two-year commitment) or a career clerk position will be considered. The start date will be approximately September 2026. Duties and responsibilities include working with the judge and co-clerks to perform legal tasks such as researching, writing, and proofreading. Applicants must be licensed to practice law or have taken the most recent bar exam. Applicants should have strong academic qualifications and writing skills and have participated in law review, moot court, or similar experience. The current starting annual salary for law clerks on the Court of Appeals is $89,487.66, and State of Indiana benefits apply.
