401(k) 401(k) matching Company parties Competitive salary Health insurance Training & development Bonus based on performance Opportunity for advancement Paid time off Parental leave We are seeking a motivated Family Law Associate Attorney with 0-5 years of experience to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a new attorney looking to gain hands-on experience and grow within a supportive, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Handle a wide range of family law cases, including divorce, custody, parenting time, child support, spousal maintenance, property division, and post-decree issues. Provide compassionate counsel to clients during emotionally charged and complex family law matters. Draft pleadings, motions, and correspondence. Represent clients in court, at mediation, and in settlement negotiations. Collaborate with shareholder attorneys and paralegals to ensure the best outcomes for clients. Conduct legal research and stay current on Minnesota family law changes.
Qualifications :
J.D. from an accredited law school. Admission to the Minnesota State Bar (or pending). Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. A demonstrated interest in family law through coursework, internships, or previous experience. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently on assigned tasks. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience or internships in family law. Comfort with alternative dispute resolution processes such as mediation and Early Neutral Evaluations (SENE/FENE).
