Job Description

Creighton University is seeking to hire an Associate Registrar for the School of Law . The Associate Registrar is responsible for supporting the law school's program of legal education, as required by the American Bar Association, ensuring compliance with the ADAA, and working with students to ensure retention.
Key Responsibilities Registration, Class Schedules & Catalog :
Prepares registration materials for distribution to all students. Provides schedules to faculty and adjunct faculty for review prior to sending to Registrar's Office for entry into Banner. Registers students and answer student questions via phone, email, and in-person and (working with the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs) assign classrooms for law school courses. Update School of Law Catalog. Communicates with Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and the Director of Finance and Financial Aid on every schedule change. Prepare and process all student cancellations/withdrawals, transfer students, and credit transfers.
Exams & Reports :
Performs/coordinates all exam processes for all School of Law courses, prepares exam schedules, signage, and makeup exam paperwork; reviews and prints all exams and creates bubble sheets fore each. Administers all exams and prints all essays before returning to professors. Coordinates the collection and input of all grades and from professors. Responds to requests for student enrollment and data. Prepare reports and information for annual ABA report.
Correspondence :
Prepares/coordinates law school correspondence, including dean's list letters, CALI awards and notifications, and good standing and rank letters. Responds to phone calls, emails, and in-person queries from students, alumni, faculty, and staff.
Grades and Class Ranks :
Performs/coordinates all processes related to collecting and entering final grades, calculating class ranks, and preparing grade summary reports. Performs graduation audits and certifies graduating students. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required. Master's/JD Preferred. 5 years of relevant experience. Excellent interpersonal/human relations skills & verbal and written communication skills Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of product and ability to learn new programs and databases Knowledge of the processes and procedures associated with the registrar functions Critical thinking and supervisory skills How to Apply Applicants are encouraged to apply with a cover letter and up to date resume attached to the online application.
