Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Litigation Associate to join our legal team. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing a diverse range of litigation matters, providing expert legal counsel, and advocating effectively for our clients. Your energetic approach and comprehensive legal expertise will contribute to the successful resolution of complex cases across multiple practice areas. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your litigation skills while working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence. Responsibilities Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies across various practice areas including general & commercial litigation, employment law, personal injury law, and more. Draft, review, and revise legal documents including contracts, motions, pleadings, and discovery requests with precision and clarity. Prepare for trial by organizing evidence, developing case theories, and assisting with trial strategy formulation. Manage all aspects of case files through effective legal case management systems, ensuring timely updates and compliance with procedural law requirements. Participate in court depositions, negotiations, and client meetings to advocate for clients' interests confidently and professionally. Collaborate with colleagues on complex legal issues involving estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, employment law cases, and statutory legal research. Assist in the preparation of legal motions and support trial preparation efforts to secure favorable outcomes for clients. Experience Must have at least 5+ years experience. Proven experience in general & commercial litigation with a strong foundation in procedural law knowledge and legal advocacy. Demonstrated ability to handle personal injury cases from inception through resolution with relevant experience in personal injury case management. Familiarity with general litigation, (Personal Injury, Real Estate, Matrimonial and Family law is a plus but not required) law case experience along with client communication skills that foster trust and clarity.. Strong writing skills demonstrated through drafting motions, legal correspondence, and detailed case reports. Experience conducting court depositions and participating in trial preparations is highly desirable. Knowledge of diverse practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, tribal regulations, patent law, and workers' compensation enhances your versatility as a Litigation Associate.
