We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney with a focus on Family Law to join our dynamic team. We will also consider experienced attorneys at a salary DOE. Responsibilities include:

Manage a caseload of family law matters including divorce, child custody, and support issues while ensuring timely progression of cases with senior attorney assistance. Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, or other legal research tools to support case strategies Draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and other legal documents with precision and clarity Negotiate settlements effectively to achieve favorable outcomes for clients Assist in litigation processes by preparing discovery requests, analyzing evidence, and representing clients in court proceedings Maintain meticulous case records and ensure compliance with all procedural requirements Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; may hire candidate early with the understanding that admission to the state bar is required to maintain employment Proven experience or strong interest in family law practice Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough legal research Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents Strong negotiation skills with a proactive approach to resolving disputes Familiarity with litigation procedures and courtroom procedures High ethical standards and ability to work independently
