Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Associate Attorney specializing in Family Law to join our vibrant legal team. In this role, you will provide expert legal counsel and representation to clients navigating complex family law matters, including divorce, child custody, visitation rights, and spousal support. Your energetic approach will help clients achieve favorable outcomes while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Duties Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters from inception through resolution, including negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis to support case strategies and ensure up-to-date legal compliance Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and court filings with precision and clarity Advocate zealously for clients in court hearings, settlement negotiations, depositions and alternative dispute resolution sessions Collaborate with clients to understand their goals, explain legal options clearly, and develop tailored action plans Stay informed on evolving family law statutes, tribal laws & regulations, and related legal developments to provide accurate guidance Maintain meticulous case records, manage deadlines efficiently, and coordinate with support staff to ensure smooth case progression Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction Demonstrated experience or strong interest in family law practice areas such as child custody, divorce, or spousal support Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear, persuasive legal drafting and correspondence Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently while thriving in a team-oriented environment Experience and Pay - Bonus of $10,000 for each year of employment - No experience required, but experience is relevant to pay scale: Family law attorney. Experience exclusively in family law in California only based on the following pay scale: 0-1 years of exclusive family law experience in California as a lawyer $100,000 1-2 years of exclusive family law experience in California as a lawyer $125,000 2-3 years of exclusive family law experience in California as a lawyer $150,000 3-4 years of exclusive family law experience in California as a lawyer $175,000 4-5 years of exclusive family law experience in California as a lawyer $200,000 5 years plus of exclusive family law experience in California as a lawyer $250,000 Join us to make a meaningful impact by guiding clients through some of their most important life decisions.
