Purpose-Driven Practice:
Guide public sector clients through complex labor relations and administrative legal matters. Key Responsibilities Provide counsel on leaves (FMLA/CFRA), wage/hour compliance, and disciplinary issues. Direct sensitive workplace investigations. Handle administrative hearings and defend against FEHA/Title VII claims. Draft personnel handbooks, custom policies, and employment agreements.
Qualifications Bar Admission:
Active California State Bar license in good standing.
Experience:
2+ years practicing employment law.
Public Sector Background:
Prior experience with PERB, the Brown Act, or the California Government Code is highly preferred.
