This role offers an exciting opportunity to work directly within a thriving organization, ensuring legal compliance, managing complex legal matters, and advising on strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess a strong foundation in various legal disciplines, including litigation, contract law, regulatory compliance, and specialized practice areas. As an integral part of our team, you will champion legal advocacy, mitigate risks, and contribute to the organization's growth and integrity. Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts including commercial agreements, employment contracts, and client arrangements. Conduct thorough legal research utilizing tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategy and compliance initiatives. Manage litigation processes including trial preparation, court depositions, and personal injury case handling. Provide expert legal counsel on estate planning, family law matters, employment law cases, and securities law issues. Advise on environmental law compliance, land use regulations, tribal law & regulations, and workers' compensation law. Prepare legal motions, court filings, and procedural documents while ensuring adherence to statutory laws and procedural rules. Represent the organization in negotiations with external parties to achieve favorable outcomes while maintaining strong client communication. Maintain detailed case management records and ensure timely updates on ongoing legal matters. Support the legal team in research projects related to statutory legal requirements and regulatory changes affecting the organization's operations. Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active licensure to practice law. Proven experience in general & commercial litigation as well as employment law case experience. Strong knowledge of procedural law, legal advocacy techniques, and trial preparation processes. Familiarity with estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law & patent law. Proficiency in legal research platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw; experience with legal case management systems preferred. Exceptional writing skills for drafting legal documents including motions, contracts, and reports. Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful dispute resolution. Ability to handle multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under pressure. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and cross-functional collaboration.
