Job Description

We are looking for an early-career legal team member to join a litigation practice focused on defense-side matters. This opportunity is well suited to someone with up to five years of experience who wants to strengthen their courtroom preparation, research, and case development skills in a collaborative setting. The firm handles a range of civil disputes and is prepared to provide guidance and mentorship to a motivated candidate. This hybrid role offers the chance to build practical litigation experience while contributing to active casework. Must be licensed in Arizona or have taken the July 2026 bar exam / be able to waive into Arizona as a licensed attorney.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare motions, memoranda, and other litigation documents to support defense case strategy.
  • Conduct legal research and translate findings into clear written analysis for attorneys and case teams.
  • Assist with discovery by organizing records, drafting responses, and helping manage document production.
  • Support case preparation for hearings, depositions, mediations, and other litigation events.
  • Review pleadings, correspondence, and evidence to help identify key issues and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with attorneys on general civil litigation matters from initial case assessment through resolution.
  • Maintain accurate case files and track procedural requirements across multiple active matters.
