Full Job Description Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented law student intern to support our Workers' Compensation Defense practice. This hybrid position offers hands-on exposure to California workers' compensation litigation, allowing interns to develop practical legal skills while working closely with senior partners and assigning attorneys in an active defense practice. Duties may include but are not limited to Review and summarize medical records, depositions, and discovery materials Draft legal correspondence, memoranda, and basic pleadings Assist with case file organization and document management Conduct legal and factual research related to California workers' compensation matters Observe hearings, depositions, and client communications as opportunities arise Provide general litigation support, as assigned Assisting in trial preparations.
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a Juris Doctor program as a 3L. Strong research, writing, analytical and communication skills. Detail-oriented and organized. Interest in workers' compensation, insurance defense, or civil litigation Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Work a hybrid or in-person schedule, as needed. Must reside in California Required to work 15 - 20 hours per week.
