Role Description Singh Law Firm is seeking a Full-Time Legal Intern to join the firm as soon as possible. This is an unpaid, ongoing internship with no fixed end date . The position is intended for a law student or recent law school graduate seeking substantive, hands-on experience working with attorneys across a variety of legal practice areas. The Legal Intern will support attorneys by conducting legal research, assisting with the preparation of legal documents, and organizing case files and client records. Responsibilities may include drafting memoranda, assisting with contracts and other transactional documents, reviewing legal issues involving corporate law, real estate, immigration, estate planning, and other practice areas, and summarizing research findings for supervising attorneys. The intern may also assist with client communications under attorney supervision, attend meetings or proceedings when appropriate, and provide general administrative and legal support to help maintain an efficient workflow across the firm. Responsibilities Conduct legal and factual research across a variety of practice areas Draft and assist with memoranda, contracts, correspondence, and other legal documents Review and organize case files, client records, and supporting documentation Research legal issues involving corporate law, real estate, immigration, estate planning, and related matters Summarize legal research and findings for supervising attorneys Assist attorneys with transactional and litigation-related matters Support contract review and other document preparation Assist with client communications under attorney supervision Attend meetings, hearings, or other proceedings when appropriate Assist with administrative and organizational tasks relating to active client matters Manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a professional law firm environment Qualifications Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, an accredited law school; good academic standing is preferred Strong foundation in legal research and analysis Ability to analyze complex legal issues involving corporate law, real estate, immigration, and related practice areas Experience or demonstrated ability in legal document preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and organizing contracts, memoranda, and other legal documents Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong critical-thinking, organizational, and analytical skills Proficiency with legal research platforms, Microsoft Office, or comparable software Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff Professional conduct, integrity, sound judgment, and respect for confidentiality when handling client and firm information Interest in gaining substantive, practical experience within a professional law firm environment Schedule & Internship Terms Full-time internship Unpaid Immediate / ASAP start Ongoing position with no predetermined end date Tysons, Virginia office Candidates should be available to begin as soon as reasonably possible What You'll Gain This internship offers the opportunity to gain practical legal experience while working directly with attorneys on active matters.
