Position Overview We are seeking a Criminal Defense Law Clerk (part-time) to join our criminal defense team in the Charleston, SC office. This is a great opportunity for a rising 2L or 3L law school student who is interested in criminal law. In this role, you will help assist with clerical duties, client support, and special projects. Responsibilities Organize and maintain case files and documents Assist with drafting and preparing legal documents Provide general administrative and office support Assist with client and court-related communications and tasks Perform other duties as needed to support the attorney and practice Obtain police records and evidence Qualifications and Skills Current law student Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Professional, reliable, and able to work independently Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Genuine interest in criminal defense and willingness to learn Availability to work approximately 5-10 hours per week in
