Responsibilities:

The Opportunity:

This isn't a position where you'll spend your days sitting on the sidelines. You'll be learning by doing . You'll work alongside experienced attorneys while gaining exposure to the full lifecycle of family law matters—from initial client meetings and case preparation to negotiations, hearings, mediations, and, as your experience develops, trial work. You'll have opportunities to develop your own legal judgment, strengthen your advocacy skills, and learn what it takes to successfully guide a client through a difficult legal situation. What You'll Do:

As an Associate Family Law Attorney, you will: Assist with and manage family law matters involving divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, and post-decree issues Conduct legal research and prepare thoughtful legal analysis Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, correspondence, and other legal documents Assist with case strategy and preparation Participate in client consultations and communicate with clients throughout their cases Prepare for and attend hearings, mediations, negotiations, and other proceedings Develop negotiation and advocacy skills while working alongside experienced attorneys Assist with trial preparation and gain courtroom experience Work collaboratively with paralegals and other members of the legal team Maintain organized case files and keep matters moving forward Build trusted relationships with clients through clear, compassionate communication Learn from feedback and continuously develop your legal skills Contribute ideas that improve the client experience and the way the firm practices law
