: Under the supervision of the Advocacy Director, the Sexual Assault/Human Trafficking Victim Advocate will work directly with victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking as well as provide outreach and training to the community. : Non-Exempt A. Receive crisis calls and provide immediate crisis intervention for victims of sexual assault. B. Determine eligibility of services for victims of sexual assault and/or give referral sources. C. Complete intakes and exit services for victims of sexual assault. D. Conduct consistent advocacy and regularly scheduled client casework sessions for Noah Project clients who are victims of sexual assault. E. Document casework activities on a timely basis including maintaining files and entering data and statistics. F. Attend scheduled trainings for advocacy regarding working with victims of sexual assault. G. Be familiar with legal services, resources, and procedures available to victims of sexual assault and identify legal rights and options as part of individual service plans. H. Assist victims in safety planning and re-evaluation of the safety plan as part of an individual service plan. I. Assist eligible clients with Crime Victim Compensation, Protective Orders, and

Provide services specific to the needs of victims of sexual assault including accompaniment to hospitals, law enforcement offices, prosecutor's offices, and court. K. Work directly with law enforcement in service areas to support their work with victims of sexual assault. L. Provide agency overviews, training workshops, and educational classes addressing sexual assault issues and prevention. A. Receive crisis calls and provide immediate crisis intervention for all victims of human trafficking, domestic violence and dating violence, including performing Lethality Assessment Protocols in coordination with law enforcement for safety planning. B. Determine eligibility of services and/or give referral sources. C. Complete intakes and exit services for victims of domestic violence and human trafficking. D. Conduct consistent advocacy and regularly scheduled client casework sessions for Noah Project clients. E. Assist in coordination and facilitation of educational classes for survivors. F. Document casework activities on a timely basis including maintaining files and entering data and statistics. G. Coordinate with other agencies, organizations, and referral sources to provide services and facilitate transfers. H. Attend staff meetings and trainings as scheduled. I. Provide accompaniment for medical forensic exam and legal services as needed. J. Be designated on-call staff as required or requested. K. Carry out other programs and tasks as assigned by the Advocacy Director or the Executive Director. L. Have a working knowledge of Texas laws pertaining to sexual assault, human trafficking, domestic violence, as well as the justice system's response to these issues. M. Be familiar with legal services, resources, and procedures available to victims and identify legal rights and options as part of individual service plans. N. Assist non-resident adults and children in safety planning and re-evaluation of the safety plan as part of an individual service plan. O. Assist eligible clients with Crime Victim Compensation, Protective Orders and SAVNS. : Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major course of study in social work or a related course of study preferred. Full-time employment in a domestic violence shelter, sexual assault program or similar social service agency in combination with formal education may be substituted for preferred degree with approval of the Executive Director. Experience working with CPS and law enforcement preferred. A. Knowledge of effective communications techniques and conflict resolution. B. Ability to organize, direct, and coordinate work activities. C. Ability to express ideas and opinions clearly and concisely in writing and verbally. D. Ability to develop, establish, and maintain effective working relationships with public, private, and governmental agencies. E. Ability to plan in an effective manner. F. Ability to meet with the public and effectively interpret Noah Project's programs, policies, and goals. : The Advocacy Director shall supervise the Sexual Assault/Human Trafficking Victim Advocate.
