We are looking for a motivated and experienced attorney to join our dynamic team.As a Family Law Associate, you will represent clients in family law cases, ensuring they receive the legal support they need through challenging and emotional times.

You will work closely with clients, provide legal counsel, draft legal documents, and represent them in court hearings, trials, mediations, and arbitrations.

Key Responsibilities:

Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody disputes, and moreProvide sound legal counsel to clients, helping them navigate the legal system and understand their rightsDraft legal documents, including petitions, motions, and settlement agreementsAdvocate for clients in court, including at hearings and trialsNegotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolutionsMaintain and manage a caseload, ensuring deadlines are met and clients' needs are prioritizedCommunicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

Qualifications:

Active bar license in Texas (or eligibility to become licensed in the state)Excellent communication, negotiation, and litigation skillsCompassionate and client-focused with the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalismAbility to work both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills:

Experience with high-conflict cases and with complex division of propertyStrong understanding of family law statutes, regulations, rules of civil procedure, and court procedures3+ years of experience, litigation experience preferredparticular focus on discovery, drafting, and research.
