Overview Nelson Mullins is seeking a talented 2-3 year Associate Attorney to join our Houston office. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a highly regarded team representing leading automobile, powersports, and boat manufacturers among others, in complex litigation, regulatory compliance, and dealership-related matters across the United States. The Associate will work directly with experienced Partners and clients on a wide range of commercial litigation and regulatory matters involving manufacturer-dealer relationships, franchise and distribution issues, business disputes, compliance counseling, and strategic risk management. This role offers substantial client exposure, meaningful responsibility, and the opportunity to develop a nationally recognized practice. A Day in the Life Manage and support commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution Conduct legal research, draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and client communications Assist with discovery, depositions, hearings, arbitrations, and trial preparation Advise land distributors and manufacturers on regulatory compliance matters Counsel clients regarding dealer and franchise relationships Collaborate with attorneys across multiple offices on sophisticated litigation and counseling matters Develop direct relationships with national clients All applicants are asked to submit a resume, cover letter, and a copy of their law school transcript. We Know You 2-3 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting Commercial Litigation experience required Exposure to regulatory compliance, administrative law, dealership law, franchise law, or distribution law is a plus Excellent legal research, writing and analytical skills Strong oral advocacy and communication abilities A demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Licensed and in good standing in Texas.

Nelson Mullins offers a competitive compensation package. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $195,000 to $205,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic market considerations. Associates are also eligible for a comprehensive benefits package and may be eligible for performance-based bonus opportunities.
