Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our law firm in the medical records department. This is a temporary hourly position with the potential to become permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
Submit orders for medical records, CXR's, and social security records Review, extract, and make copies of CXR images Work on rejections and getting proper paperwork required Scan and upload documents to client folders Follow-up with clients regarding missing documents Take incoming calls from clients and provide case updates Communicate with clients, experts, colleagues, and record services via phone and email and accurately enter details from communications into firm software Maintain phone and email etiquette Input updates into client profile in firm software Distribute invoices to accounting department Complete other tasks as necessary
Requirements:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and strong computer and typing skills Must have a minimum of two years' experience with medical records, working in a doctor's office or similar role. Ability to adapt to new software Excellent customer service skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to maintain confidentiality in a professional manner Requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
