Job Description

CHIEF OF
POLICE, Town of Center. Full-time. FLSA exempt. Salary is dependent on experience. Plans, organizes and directs the activities of the Police Department in law enforcement and crime prevention. Working Chief position. Any combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skill and abilities is qualifying; typical education, but is not required would include a BS/BA in Business Administration, Public Administration, or Criminal Justice. Typical experience would include five years of relevant progressively responsible command/management experience in a law enforcement agency. Must possess a POST Certificate. Must possess valid Colorado driver's license and have an acceptable driving record. Must sign a waiver for the Town of Center to obtain ALL information from previous employers. Must pass background, drug and psychological tests. Pay:
$65,512.16 - $78,896.36 per year
