Job Description
This role provides assistance to full-time facility maintenance specialists in their day-to-day duties. Job duties will include assisting in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other basic maintenance tasks. May assist in snow removal, or other tasks within District Services. The schedule for this position is Monday-Thursday 7am-12pm.
- Knowledge of safe maintenance practices.
- Ability to follow instructions and stay on task.
- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools necessary to perform basic carpentry, electrical, mechanical & plumbing repairs / maintenance work.
- Be able to lift 50 - 75 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work in adverse conditions and work on short timetables.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to navigate and operate workflow computer management software(s).
- Must be 18 or older.
- High School diploma or equivalent or current student.
- Must possess current and valid Colorado driver's license.
