La Cygne is a growing community of approximately 1,050 residents located just south of the Kansas City metropolitan area. Position Highlights Starting Salary:

$60,320 annually (DOE) 4 Full-Time Sworn Officers Up to 3 Part-Time Officers Modern Patrol Fleet Updated Records Management System (RMS) Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) System Axon Body-Worn Cameras Axon TASER Devices Modern technology and equipment Community-oriented policing philosophy Supportive community Minimum Qualifications Minimum five (5) years of sworn law enforcement experience. Patrol experience required. Investigative experience preferred. Kansas law enforcement certification, or the ability to obtain Kansas certification. Valid driver's license. Must establish residence within a 20-minute drive time of the City of La Cygne within a timeframe established by City policy.
