Courtesy Officer - Apartment Communities Hot Springs, AR Are you a licensed law enforcement officer looking for an opportunity to serve your community in a unique way? Our apartment communities in Hot Springs, Arkansas are seeking a dedicated Courtesy Officer to help create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our residents. What We Offer Discounted Apartment included Opportunity to serve your community in a residential setting Flexible position that complements your law enforcement career Supportive property management team Responsibilities As the Courtesy Officer, you will play an important role in promoting safety and resident satisfaction by: Conducting routine patrols of the community, including the clubhouse, pool, playground, parking areas, and other common areas, a minimum of two (2) times nightly between 8:00 PM and 5:00 AM Monitoring for suspicious or criminal activity and promptly notifying local law enforcement and the Community Director when appropriate Providing additional patrols during holidays, special events, or as requested by management Reporting damaged or malfunctioning lighting, security concerns, or hazardous conditions Coordinating with the local law enforcement agency regarding your presence on the property Submitting a weekly written report documenting incidents, observations, and patrol activity Helping maintain a safe, secure, and peaceful living environment for residents Qualifications Must be a licensed law enforcement officer serving in the same city or municipality as the property Police academy certification or equivalent law enforcement training required Strong communication, observation, and conflict-resolution skills Professional demeanor and commitment to outstanding resident service Must reside at the property (Discounted Apartment included) Important Information Courtesy Officers are not expected to apprehend or attempt citizen arrests except when necessary to protect someone from immediate danger. All incidents should be handled in accordance with law enforcement training, local regulations, and company policies.
