This position requires a dedicated individual who is committed to protecting lives and property, preventing crime, and upholding the law with integrity and professionalism. Officers will engage with community members, respond to emergencies, conduct investigations, and collaborate with other law enforcement agencies. Duties Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect criminal activity. Respond promptly to calls for service, emergencies, and incidents. Conduct thorough investigations of crimes, including gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses. Write detailed reports documenting incidents, arrests, and investigations. Enforce traffic laws and regulations; issue citations as necessary. Provide assistance in animal handling and care when required. Utilize surveillance techniques to monitor suspicious activities. Maintain proficiency in law enforcement practices, including CPR and first aid. Collaborate with community organizations to promote public safety initiatives. Qualifications Must possess a valid law enforcement certificate or equivalent training. Knowledge of immigration law is preferred but not mandatory. Experience in report writing is essential for documenting incidents accurately. Skills in animal handling are advantageous for situations involving domestic animals. Ability to drive safely under various conditions is required. Familiarity with militarized tactics may be beneficial for specific operations. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with the public and colleagues. Must pass background checks and meet all physical fitness requirements.
