- Patrols to detect and deter crime and to offer assistance when needed. Duty 2
- Enforces parking regulations; issues citations. Duty 3
- Prepares required reports. Duty 4
- Checks the security of buildings. Duty 5
- Investigates suspicious activities or persons. Duty 6
- Investigates traffic accidents and criminal or non-criminal incidents. Duty 7
- Makes arrests and issue citations to individuals who have committed a crime. Duty 8
- Testifies in court as required. Duty 9
- Provides assistance to motorists. Duty 10
- Responds to emergency incidents. Duty 11
- Provides security and traffic enforcement at special events. Duty 12
- Respond to calls for maintenance issues and relay information as needed. Duty 13
- Performs related duties. Duty 14
- Assist local jurisdictions as outline in the Georgia mutual aid act. Duty 15
- Serves as a Campus Security Authority (CSA) as defined by the Jeanne Clery Act Required Qualifications Educational Requirements Ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations at a level commonly associated with the completion of high school or equivalent.
