To Qualify:

Applicants must: Be a citizen of the United States Applicant must be 21 years old Possess a valid state-issued driver's license Be a high school graduate or possess a G.E.D. equivalent Possess a valid FOID card Have no felony convictions; certain misdemeanor convictions or serious traffic offenses may also disqualify applicants from consideration 2 years of continuous full-time sworn law enforcement experience with an Illinois law enforcement agency in non-probationary status No residency requirement
