• Job Overview:

• As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining law and order, protecting members of the community, and enforcing laws of the State of Indiana. This role requires a strong sense of duty, integrity, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.

• Duties:

• Patrol assigned areas to deter crime and ensure public safety
• Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance as needed
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and interview witnesses
• Arrest suspects and prepare necessary documentation
• Enforce traffic laws and issue citations when necessary
• Provide support during public events or emergencies
• Work collaboratively with other law enforcement agencies

• Experience:

• Prior experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred
• Certification from a police academy or relevant training program is required
• Proficiency in criminal investigation techniques and evidence collection
• Ability to handle and care for animals in various situations
• Strong driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws
• Knowledge of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols
• Effective conflict management skills to handle high-pressure situations
