$20.00/hour + Competitive Benefits Thomas County Sheriff's Office is hiring Detention Deputy for our brand new, state-of-the-art 64-bed jail facility in Colby, Kansas. Job Responsibilities:

Supervise inmates and maintain safety and order within the facility Conduct head counts, security checks, and inmate searches Monitor inmate behavior and respond to incidents as needed Assist in booking, releasing, and transportation of inmates Complete reports and maintain documentation in accordance with policy Work effectively with law enforcement, medical staff, and court personnel

Qualifications:
