Job Description

Position Summary Responsible for enforcing City ordinances and State statutes, protecting life and property, conducting patrols and investigations, responding to calls for service, and providing professional law enforcement services to the community. Essential Job Functions Enforces City ordinances and State statutes. Conducts patrols, traffic enforcement, and security checks. Responds to calls for service and conducts investigations. Completes reports and routine administrative duties. Assists other law enforcement and emergency agencies as needed. Maintains required certifications and participates in training. Maintains assigned equipment, vehicles, and work areas. Performs other duties as assigned. Position Requirements Must meet all State of Kansas requirements for law enforcement officers and satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position.
