Full-Time Police Officer Duties :

Enforce laws and regulations to maintain public safety and order Patrol assigned areas to deter crime and respond to emergency situations Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and make arrests as necessary Provide assistance to individuals in need, including first aid and CPR if required Conduct traffic stops and issue citations for traffic violations Respond to calls for service and provide assistance to the community Write detailed reports documenting incidents, investigations, and interactions

Experience:

Knowledge of criminal investigation techniques and procedures Experience in loss prevention and surveillance Familiarity with conflict management and de-escalation techniques Ability to handle animals safely and effectively Strong leadership skills and the ability to work well in a team environment

Skills:

POST certification (or ability to obtain one) MPTC approved FT academy certificate or waiver First aid and CPR certification Proficient in driving emergency vehicles safely and effectively Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
