Job Description

Remainder of 2026-2027 School Year 220 days per fiscal year Salary Starts at $45,662.00, depending upon experience and qualifications.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or the equivalent; four (4) years' experience in law enforcement. Experience and training which provides a thorough knowledge of approved principals and procedures of law enforcement. Certified or the ability to be certified by the Board of Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Training, State of Mississippi. A valid Mississippi driver's license is required. Must pass a criminal background check as prescribed by state statute. All applicants must have a current application online at www.pgsd.ms.
