The City of Pierce has approved a fourth officer position and is accepting applications for a Full-time police officer. The City of Pierce offers a competitive benefits package and competitive wages. Applicants must be U.S. citizens; 21 years of age; never convicted of a felony or serious misdemeanor by any Court; possess a valid driver's license; possess good moral character; possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate; and be able to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts. Applicants must meet all requirements for entry into the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center. Nebraska Law Enforcement Certification is preferred but not mandatory. Salary will range from 50k-65k, based on certification and experience.
