Job Description
Sullivan County New Hampshire is seeking a Full Time Deputy Sheriff.
The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office is responsible for the enforcement of the applicable laws of the State of New Hampshire. Deputies patrol the County enforcing motor vehicle laws, investigate and report criminal acts when discovered, investigate accidents, and file appropriate reports as prescribed by the Office Rules, Regulations, procedures, and/or superior officers. Deputies also are responsible for serving Civil Process, transporting prisoners, and assisting in the security of the Sullivan County Superior Court. Deputies shall also be responsible for other duties as assigned. Must be a U.S. Citizen Minimum age of 21 at the time of employment Minimum education of a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Military experience and/or post-secondary education is strongly recommended Must possess a valid NH driver's license Applicants must be a certified Full-Time NH Police officer by NH Police Standards and Training Council Applicants must be of good moral character The applicant must not have any physical, mental, and/or medical impairments which would interfere with the ability to perform the essential functions of a police officer Applicants shall not have a criminal record or serious motor vehicle record
