Job Description

Job Summary Join our dedicated law enforcement team as a Police Officer, where you will be at the forefront of maintaining public safety, enforcing laws, and protecting the community. Immediate full and part time opportunities available. Limited minimum shift requirements for part time. Shift differential for afternoon and midnight shifts (full time). Duties Respond promptly to emergency calls, accidents, and incidents to provide immediate assistance and ensure public safety. Conduct criminal investigations by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing detailed reports. Enforce laws and regulations related to traffic control and criminal activity. Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, employing conflict management skills to de-escalate tensions. Engage in community outreach efforts to build positive relationships and promote safety awareness. Maintain accurate documentation through report writing, including incident reports and case files. Operate law enforcement vehicles safely while adhering to traffic laws and department policies. Requirements Proven experience or training in law enforcement practices; military background is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate police vehicles confidently. Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation of incidents. Physical fitness suitable for patrol duties including standing, walking, running, and restraining individuals if necessary. Must have valid OPOTC certificate.
Pay:
From $19.00 per hour
