In exchange for fulfilling courtesy duties, the selected officer will receive a $1000 discount on rent . The Courtesy Officer plays a vital role in supporting the safety and well-being of our residents. This position involves fostering a secure and peaceful living environment by responding to emergencies, assisting with minor incidents, maintaining a visible presence, and building positive relationships with tenants. Although our community typically experiences minimal issues, we value having a trusted law enforcement presence on-site to promote peace of mind and deter potential disturbances. Responsibilities Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect criminal activity in the evenings. Respond promptly to calls for service, including emergencies and non-emergencies. Conduct thorough investigations of crimes, accidents, and incidents. Engage with tenants to build relationships and promote public safety initiatives. Act as a 3rd party witness for management company Provide first aid and CPR when necessary to assist individuals in need. Answering after-hour calls for minor security and noise complaints Officer provides a law enforcement vehicle parked within the property nightly to help deter crime. Checking gates & all access points ensuring or reporting issues nightly Walking properties nightly to check doors and note any burnt-out lights, and letting management know of deficiencies. Assisting OKC PD and Fire Dept with afterhours emergencies if any. Tagging unauthorized vehicles in garage without a parking sticker and keeping records with parking Coordinating with Tow company to tow illegally parked cars that are blocking entrances or double parked after hours. Arrow Wrecker 405-943-1800. Responding to complaining tenants & entering resident apartments that call in a noise complaint & report complaint as a 3 rd party witness. Updating Property Manager of any calls or issues that occurred by email or text messages for proper documentation if needed for resident issues. Report all above issues nightly/ weekly based on urgency. This role is essential for maintaining a safe environment for all community members. Candidates should be prepared for the physical demands of the job as well as the emotional resilience required to handle challenging situations.
