Duties Enforce traffic laws, local ordinances, criminal laws, and immigration regulations to uphold public safety. Conduct patrols using standard passenger cars, ensuring visibility and quick response to incidents or emergencies. Investigate crimes through evidence collection, surveillance, search and seizure procedures, and criminal investigation techniques. Prepare detailed reports documenting incidents, arrests, investigations, and other law enforcement activities. Execute arrest procedures with proper use of force training while adhering to procedural law and use of force protocols. Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, following established first aid protocols to assist injured individuals. Manage conflict situations effectively through conflict management skills and de-escalation techniques. Handle evidence law compliance, animal handling when applicable, and loss prevention efforts to support overall security operations. Requirements Proven knowledge of law enforcement practices including criminal procedure, evidence law, search and seizure law, and procedural law. Experience with criminal law investigation techniques, arrest procedures, report writing, and traffic law enforcement. Demonstrated physical conditioning suitable for active patrol duties and emergency response scenarios. Valid driver's license with experience operating standard passenger cars; clean driving record preferred. Ability to handle firearms safely in accordance with firearms handling in law enforcement standards. Strong leadership qualities combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Background in military service or prior law enforcement experience is highly desirable. Skills in surveillance operations, security protocols, animal care (if applicable), and familiarity with local ordinances are advantageous. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with the public, colleagues, and emergency responders.
