Control number 868902200 This job is open to Help The public U.S. Citizens, Nionals or those who owe allegiance to the U.S. Duties Help Perform a range of law enforcement, investigion, crime prevention, traffic control and community policing. Conduct investigions of accidents, suspicious activities, security breaches, and crimes. Respond to calls involving fire, robberies, automobile accidents, bomb thres, barricade situions, and other emergencies. Control access to sensitive/restricted areas where there is potential for breach of security, public safety, or public health. Apprehend people committing crimes. Requirements Help Conditions of employment Incumbent required to successfully complete a Police Officer Field Training Program within 6 months upon initial assignment to law enforcement duties and maintain certificion. Must tend the United Stes Army Military Police School Civilian Police Academy and successfully gradue within 12 months of hire de; unless incumbent has a current approved waiver/exception from the Office of the Provost Marshal General. Incumbent must be able to successfully gain and pass training certificion reled to police work functions. This is a Testing Designed Position (TDP) and is covered by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program. IAW AR 600-85, a

Condition of Employment must be signed for mandory drug testing. Must meet the Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968. Persons convicted of a misdemeanor or felony crime of domestic violence are not eligible for this position. Incumbent in this position is designed as Mission Essential, in the event of a crisis situion or inclement weher, the incumbent must continue to perform the duties until relieved by proper authority. Must possess a valid ste driver's license and be able to obtain and maintain a government motor vehicle operor's license. Obtain and maintain a valid (Secret) security investigion. Hours of work is subject to irregular and/or roting shifts, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. Incumbent is required to work overtime as directed and is subject to recall for emergency overtime. Official Temporary Duty (TDY) up to 10% of the time may be required. Incumbent is subject to possible civil action due to improper exercises of authority or injudicious use of force in the apprehension or detention of individuals. One year probionary period may be required. Must successfully pass a pre-employment and recurring medical evaluion. Must pass a Physical Agility Test (PAT) within 30 days of hire de and annually thereafter. Employee is expected to maintain a high standard of conduct and is assessed for social adjustment, emotional stability, sound judgement, dependability, flexibility in adjusting to changes, ability to work under pressure , and a positive titude.
Qualificions Who May Apply:
