TCOLE certification is not required to apply though preference maybe given to candidates with a current TCOLE license. Hiring Incentive $10k for non-Certified/$20K for certified candidates with 3 or more years of experience Lateral Officer may qualify for a modified process and starting pay at $90,343. Load bearing Vests / Tattoos and Beards allowed Salary Structure

Certified/Experienced Salary Range:
Year 1- $80,269 (after graduation from the academy) Year 2
- $82,677 Year 3
- $85,157 Year 4
- $87,712 Year 5
- $90,343 Year 6
- $103,496 Lateral appointments begin at up to $90,343/year, based on experience. At least one year of full-time, paid peace officer experience beyond that agency's field training program
- within the past 24 months of being hired by this department for a Police Officer position.
