Job Description

Officers are responsible for the performace of general police work, and the protection of life and property through the enforcement of federal and state laws and local ordinances.
Qualifications:
Full-Time Availability Valid Texas Peace Officer License High School Graduate or Equivalent Valid Texas Driver License Bi-Lingual:
Additional Monthly Pay (TBD) Must be 21 Years of Age Must Pass Physical & Psychological Exam TCOLE Certified within 30 Days After Exam Prospective applicants must register to take the civil service exam in person at the Galena Park Police Dept, 2207 Clinton Dr., Galena Park, TX 77547, before 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 16th. The exam will be held on Saturday, July 18th at 9 a.m. at the Alvin D. Baggett Community Center, 1302 Keene St., Galena Park, TX 77547.
