Our team of experts is dedicated to improving water quality and ensuring our clients receive custom solutions to complex problems. Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Water/Wastewater Service Representative to join our team. The Industrial Water/Wastewater Service Representative will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing water and wastewater treatment systems within industrial plants. This position involves technical servicing, jar testing, inventory management, biological analysis, and client support to ensure our clients' systems operate efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities Technical Servicing Perform routine servicing of water and wastewater treatment systems in industrial plants. This includes raw water, wastewater, cooling towers and boilers Troubleshoot and diagnose issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions Conduct system inspections to maximize operations Jar Testing Conduct jar testing to analyze and optimize chemical dosing and treatment processes Interpret test results and make adjustments to treatment protocols as needed to achieve desired water quality outcomes Inventory Management Maintain accurate records of chemical and equipment inventories Coordinate the timely procurement of replacement parts and chemicals to ensure continuous system operation Manage inventory levels to optimize cost-effectiveness and avoid downtime Biological Analysis Perform biological analysis of wastewater samples, including microbial population assessments and sludge analysis Utilize biological data to make recommendations for process improvements and adjustments Client Support Build strong customer relationships by providing outstanding technical support and assistance Respond promptly to client inquiries and service requests Ensure client satisfaction by addressing concerns and providing clear explanations of service activities Documentation Maintain detailed records of service activities, including service reports, work orders, and equipment maintenance logs Document equipment specifications and any modifications or upgrades performed Training and Education Stay current with industry trends, equipment advancements, and safety protocols Provide training and guidance to clients and colleagues as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree; technical or trade school certification Proven experience in servicing water and wastewater treatment systems within industrial plants Strong technical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Experience with jar testing and biological analysis of wastewater Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic computer skills for documentation and communication Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites
