Receives incoming E-911 Emergency / non-emergency calls for Law Enforcement, Fire, EMS, Animal Control, Game and Inland Fisheries, Virginia Department of Transportation, State Parks, Virginia State Police, and other Local, State, and Federal Agencies. Applicant must have the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Applicant must be able to work a varied shift, including weekends and holidays. Applicant will possess a professional and positive demeanor, strong public relations skills and efficient work habits. The applicant must have a minimum, high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, ability to type, ability to articulate clearly and concisely on the telephone, excellent multi-tasking skills, ability to manage stressful situations, maintain confidentiality, and operate basic office equipment.
