Job Description

Position Responsibilities Entry level officer responsible for patrolling City of Rhinelander; enforcement of State laws and City ordinances; ordinance, criminal and traffic investigations; and all other functions outlined in position description or as designated by Administration.   • Currently employed as a full-time police officer and have a minimum of 3 years continuous service in this capacity.
  • An exemplary work history
  • Certified or certifiable by the State of Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Bureau
  • At least 21 years of age at the date of hire
  • High School graduate
  • Have 60 college credits at the time of hire
  • A valid Wisconsin Driver's License
