Our attorneys try cases, and insurance companies know it. The Role We are hiring a full-time Associate Attorney to join our litigation team. You will work alongside our senior attorney to move filed cases forward from complaint through discovery, mediation, and trial. This is a hands-on litigation role with real courtroom opportunity. Our attorneys are expected to try approximately two to three cases per year. Responsibilities Draft and file complaints, motions, briefs, and other pleadings Prepare and respond to written discovery Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts Prepare cases for mediation and trial, including mediation briefs, exhibits, and witness preparation Try cases to verdict alongside and independently of senior counsel Evaluate liability, causation, and damages and recommend case strategy Negotiate with insurance adjusters and defense counsel Communicate proactively with clients and keep them updated on their cases Use our AI and case management tools to work faster and smarter Collaborate with pre-litigation staff to transition cases smoothly into suit Qualifications JD from an ABA-accredited law school Active license in good standing in Alabama or Georgia (licensed in both, or willing to obtain the second, strongly preferred) Plaintiff personal injury or insurance defense litigation experience preferred; motivated newer attorneys will be considered Strong legal writing and research skills Confident in depositions, hearings, and the courtroom, or eager to get there fast Organized, proactive, and able to manage a litigation caseload with minimal hand-holding Communicates clearly, asks questions, and raises problems early Comfortable with technology and open to using AI tools in daily practice What We Offer Competitive base salary of $80,000 to $100,000, depending on experience Performance bonus opportunity Paid time off Professional development assistance Real trial experience and a clear path to grow with a firm that is scaling A modern, tech-forward, AI-enabled practice Who Thrives Here People who work hard, communicate, take ownership, and want to fight for injured people.
