Job Description

Spencer Fane has an opening for a Litigation Associate with 3+ years of experience in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Ideal candidates will have strong research, writing, oral communication, and team collaboration skills. Some transactional or corporate experience is preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
Working knowledge of commercial litigation, business disputes, arbitrations, and other legal proceedings. Familiarity with all aspects of fact discovery, including written discovery and depositions, and drafting pleadings and a variety of dispositive and non-dispositive motions. Exceptional writing, analytical, and organizational skills. Identify and analyze legal issues and present clear recommendations, while assuring legal compliance. Collaborate closely with other Firm attorneys. Perform administrative functions related to the practice of law.
The qualifications below are required:
Juris Doctor degree from ABA accredited law school Admitted to practice or eligible to practice in the State of Arkansas

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Regularly required to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods while performing administrative duties. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs for filing, document handling, or office materials. Ability to perform repetitive motions, including typing, filing, and scanning. Occasional bending, reaching, and handling of office equipment. Adequate visual and auditory ability to accurately review legal documents, read computer screens, printed materials, and communicate effectively.
