Job Description
Staff Attorney - Multiple Openings at Legal Aid of Arkansas Legal Aid of Arkansas, a nonprofit public interest law firm, is seeking three Staff Attorneys to serve low-income Arkansans in civil legal matters.
Open positions include:
Economic Justice Attorney — West Memphis, El Dorado, or Texarkana Focus areas include public benefits, employment issues, and education matters. Domestic Justice Attorney — Jonesboro Focus on family law matters such as Orders of Protection, divorce, custody, visitation, and guardianship. Housing Attorney — Springdale or Van Buren Represent tenants and homeowners in eviction, foreclosure, and other housing-related matters. Attorneys will represent clients from intake through hearings, trial, and appeal, while also helping address systemic issues through broader advocacy and litigation.Qualifications:
Arkansas bar admission preferred, eligibility for admission on motion, or plans to sit for the July 2026 Bar Exam. Driver's license required. Courtroom experience and bilingual ability are a plus.Compensation:
