Job Description
Company Overview Against Abuse, Inc. has provided social services in Pinal County, Arizona since 1981. At Against Abuse, Inc., trauma informed, culturally responsive services are strength based, choice driven, whole-person and family centered. Overview Against Abuse, Inc. is seeking a full-time Staff Attorney to help build our new legal program and provide legal services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, or stalking in Pinal County, AZ. The roles and responsibilities of the Staff Attorney will include what is typically expected for legal services ranging from brief advice/consultation and limited services to full representation, primarily on family law cases and orders of protection. This is a hybrid WFH/in-person role with a flexible schedule to support work/life balance, with benefits including payment of Arizona Bar fees, malpractice insurance, and CLEs; health, dental, and vision insurance; and a salary range of $95,000-$105,000 DOE. Our ideal candidate would have 5+ years of experience practicing law, strong trauma-informed lawyering skills, a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school, Arizona Bar membership, experience working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, or stalking, and is bilingual in Spanish.
