City of Industry, CA Job Details Full-time $65,000 - $250,000 a year 1 hour ago Qualifications Law Writing skills Doctor of Law (JD) Legal case management Bar Full Job Description Attorney — City of Industry, California Law Office of Susan Qin, P.C. is seeking one full-time attorney to join our City of Industry office. Candidates with experience in immigration law or criminal defense are preferred. Attorneys with a civil-law background are also encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
Represent and advise clients in assigned matters. Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, agreements, and correspondence. Appear in court, at hearings, interviews, mediations, and other proceedings as required. Manage deadlines and maintain accurate, organized case files. Communicate professionally with clients, courts, government agencies, opposing counsel, and colleagues. Collaborate with the firm's attorneys and support staff to develop effective case strategies.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Active license and good standing to practice law in the State of California. Immigration-law or criminal-defense experience is preferred; civil-law experience is welcome. Strong legal research, writing, analysis, advocacy, and client-service skills. Ability to manage multiple matters independently and meet deadlines. Professional judgment, integrity, and attention to detail.
Compensation:
$65,000-$250,000 per year, depending on experience, qualifications, practice area, and performance. Compensation is negotiable.
