The firm supports complex transactions at the intersection of intellectual property, innovation, and commercial strategy. Job Description Advise clients on intellectual property aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and licensing agreements within the life sciences sector. Draft and negotiate complex IP-related contracts, including collaboration and development agreements. Provide strategic counsel on IP portfolio management and protection strategies. Conduct due diligence on intellectual property assets in transactional contexts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address IP issues in broader business transactions. Stay updated on emerging trends and regulations in intellectual property law affecting the life sciences industry. Assist in resolving disputes related to intellectual property rights and agreements. Support clients in navigating regulatory and compliance matters tied to intellectual property in the life sciences field. The Successful Applicant A successful candidate should have: Strong experience with intellectual property law, particularly in the life sciences sector. Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex IP-related agreements. Deep understanding of transactional matters, including mergers, acquisitions, and licensing. Ability to conduct thorough due diligence on IP assets and portfolios. Strong legal research and analytical skills to address regulatory and compliance issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership.
