Our firm represents plaintiffs in personal injury and civil rights matters. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing an active litigation caseload, handling substantive motion practice, and working closely with partners and litigation staff. Familiarity with civil rights litigation is required. Responsibilities Handle litigation matters from case evaluation through discovery, trial preparation, and resolution. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and written discovery. Take and defend depositions, including party, witness, and expert depositions. Represent clients at hearings, conferences, mediations, and other court proceedings. Develop and implement case strategies with the firm's partners. Manage deadlines and ensure compliance with state and federal court rules. Communicate regularly with clients and coordinate assignments with paralegals and support staff. Required Qualifications Active California State Bar membership in good standing. At least five years of litigation experience. Substantial federal court litigation experience. Familiarity with civil rights cases. Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Experience handling discovery, depositions, and substantive motions. Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple cases. Preferred Qualifications Plaintiff-side personal injury or civil rights experience. Trial experience.
Pay:
From $150,000.00 per year
